DR. ANA NIELSON

Dr. Ana Nielson grew up in the Bay Area in California where she graduated from U.C. Davis in 1997. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Nielson now lives in beautiful Idaho with her husband Dr. Ryan Nielson where they are now raising their three children.

Dr. Nielson has experience in diagnosing and managing any ocular disease and has a fresh look on the newest available contact lenses.

She meticulously examines the eye health for evidence of eye disease such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal tears to prevent blindness. She maximizes the usage of glasses and contact lenses to help school age children achieve the highest possible level of vision so that their vision will not prevent them from excelling in school academically or sports.
